Agentic Publication Protocol

Personal - Present
ProtocolAI agentsReproducibility

Instead of only publishing a paper, publish an agent that can explain the work, reproduce its figures, and support follow-up research. The protocol bundles a paper with its code, data, and an AGENTS.md, and ships publish, reproduce, and validate skills as agent plugins. Releasing soon.

How to use 🔗

  1. Add an AGENTS.md and a small release manifest to your paper’s repository, describing how to build the project and reproduce each figure.
  2. Install the APP skills as a Claude Code or Codex plugin.
  3. Run reproduce-results to regenerate figures and tables, validate-publication to check the claims against the artifacts, or publish-paper to package the paper as an agent for release.

The move toward agent-native scientific communication is gathering momentum. Stanford physicist Xiaoliang Qi has proposed a format to replace the traditional paper, and the broader reckoning over AI in theoretical science was covered by The Harvard Crimson in “AI Wrote A Harvard Physicist’s Most Recent Paper”.
