  • I enjoy playing Go. My rank is 5d (amateur), or 8d on the Fox Go.

  • The left picture is a group photo of Team MIT and Team Harvard at 2018 NY GO EXPO & 1st Dreamworks School Invitational. I am the first on the left. Even if sometimes I had to give nine stones, I still win all the games in this competition!

  • I was shocked when AlphaGo beat Lee Sedol. The later development is a perfect example of how artificial intelligence would shape a seeming developed field.

  • A famous Japanese professional Go player, Hideyuki Fujisawa, once said he only knew seven out of one hundred of the Tao of Go. People thought he was modest. It turns out he was right! The same goes for physics.

  • Let me know if you are interested in playing with me!

I am a big fan of the MOOC (Massive Online Open Course). Here are some certificates I obtained.

  1. MIT 8.371x: Quantum Info Science II taught by Prof. Issac Chuang (certificate).

  2. MIT 8.422x: Atomic and Optical Physics II taught by Prof. Wolfgang Ketterle (certificate).

  3. Quantum Cryptography taught by Prof. Thomas Vidick (Caltech) and Prof. Stephanie Wehner (Delft) (certificate).

  4. MIT 8.05x: Quantum Physics II taught by Prof. Barton Zwiebach (certificate).

Computer Science

  1. LFS101x: Introduction to Linux (certificate).

I grew a passion for coding since I was 12. Although I switched to Physics since university, I keep enthusiasm in various fields of computer science. That's probably one reason why I choose quantum information & computation.

  1. MIT 24.00 Introduction to Philosophy: God, Knowledge, and Consciousness taught by Prof. Caspar Hare (certificate).

I am actively learning philosophy from scratch. I hope learning it can help me to think more clearly and critically. For now, my idol is René Descartes, a French philosopher. Let me know if you would like to discuss philosophy with me!
